The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa has asserted that digitising ICPC will significantly boost corruption combat in Nigeria.
This was stated During a meeting with ICPC led by Chairman Musa Aliyu. Inuwa pledged readiness to support the Commission’s digital transformation.
He emphasized that technology is pivotal in reducing corruption, particularly when processes are optimized for automation.
“We have over two hundred and ninety-three processes to automate but we are selecting them one after the other to achieve the goal of the Agency.
“We do this for other Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) also, we have other initiatives in place to help them achieve digital transformation”, the DG noted.
NITDA, with experience in aiding other MDAs, will guide ICPC through this digital journey.
Aliyu highlighted that technology is crucial for ICPC’s efficiency and transparency, inspiring public confidence in their work.
