NITDA Reviews ICT Service Provider Guidelines

SHALOM OLALEYE

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has embarked on a comprehensive review of the Guidelines for Registration of ICT Service Providers/Contractors.

These guidelines aim to streamline the process for delivering IT services to Ministries, Departments, and Agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Initially issued in 2018, the guidelines outlined the registration process for indigenous IT service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT projects to the federal government.

The ongoing review will result in the amendment of the guidelines, creating more opportunities for Nigerian companies to provide digital services while enhancing the ease of doing business for IT service providers.
