Google Commercializes Mail Enterprise – Investigation

For years, the google mail has been free for almost anyone willing to sign up for it. And with every sign up, a 15 gigabyte (GB) space is attached.

Gtechnews investigations revealed that  the mail entrrprise of the organisation seems to have been commercialised without the company declaring it publicly.

Users are left with two options to either   prune down unnecessary files or purchase a larger gigabyte (via a subtile link) for more efficient use if they don’t want to risk not getting new mails.

Speaking to Gtechnews, a regular gmail account holder,  Dominic Lemur said, ” No one wants to lose mails and any serious person would either pay grudgingly or switch to a free email platform. Though the money is actually little but it is quite strange for some of us.

“One thing about Google is that it only tells you what it wants without waiting for a corresponding fredback from its customers. It is only setting the precedent for other email owners to commercialize that aspect”.

Another email user, Joam Isshak said, it could be another way of staying in business for the most popular searge engine Organisation.

” I think, I have had my gmail account for more than 10 years now but the most important thing is information, which is key. I got stuck when I wasn’t getting mails anymore. And I only got to know about the commercialization aspect very recently through a friend . As long as the billing is right and affordable, there is no choice. Funny enough, there is no where to reach the organisation if there are issues. And that is weird’.

Meanwhile, Gtechnews tried to reach the customer support on +1 650-253-0000 but got picked by a Robot that directed to Google.com/support. But nothing came out of it. And other means to reach Google Public Relations office was futile.
