NITDA,MassChallenge To Run B2MC ProgramWith the focus of accelerating top startups in Nigeria, National Information Technology Development Agency,NITDA would be working closely with MassChallenge to run the B2MC Nigeria program.Prior to the kick off of the acceleration program, NITDA and MassChallenge would be conducting an innovation ecosystem assessment. This assessment would be a combination of innovation stakeholder interviews as well as in-depth research on the ecosystem.In a statement by Hadiza Umar, Head, Corporate Affairs and External Relations, NITDA,MassChallenge and NITDA would be working closely to promote Nigeria as an emerging entrepreneurial hub and leader of innovation in Africa, in order to support job creation and economic development.“With the focus of fostering the growth and success of Nigeria’s startup enterprises MassChallenge is keen to connect Nigerian entrepreneurs with markets, networks, and capital in the global innovation ecosystem”.
