PMB Requests Stronger Bilateral Ties With Canada

Nigeria’s number one citizen, President Muhammadu Buhari has requested further stronger bilateral ties with Canada.

Speaking earlier today in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia at the 33rd African Union ,AU Summit, while meeting with Canada’s Prime Minister JustinTrudeau, he described Nigeria-Canada relations as very cordial and would want to take the relationship further especially in terms of education and trade.

Responding,the Prime Minister said President Buhari was ‘‘a leader in Africa’’, and it was a pleasure to engage on regional and international issues.

Said he: ‘‘Your leadership and reflection on the current situation challenging Africa but also the potentials and opportunities are something that I am very much looking up to.
