….As It Partners, CCHUB

With the corovid-19 pandemic disrupting the global economy and crippling activities in Nigeria, the Lagos state government is set on granting $1000 funding to six applicants for novel solution to COVID-19.

This partnership is formed between the Co-creation Hub (CcHUB), Africa’s silicone valley, while Lagos come under the aegis of Lagos State Science Research And Innovation Council (LASRIC).This partnership is coming on the back of CcHUB’s recent call to the startup community across Africa to procure solutions to lessen the impact of the disease.

Aside the grant funding, LASRIC will also appraise the most promising solution with the intention of investing $12,000 in a convertible note with an equity claim in possible future funding rounds. The terms of this follow-on investment would be decided on a case-by-case basis.
