Startups: CFA Call for Entries Submission

As part of initiatives to deepen its support for startups and entrepreneurs in Nigeria, leading technology blog, CFAtech.ng has opened entries for a pitch session.

The pitch session will hold at 53, Oladipo Bateye, GRA, Ikeja on the 24th May, 2018. And the winner of the pitch will have a One on One with CFA.
Applicants should note that any idea to be pitched should able meet certain criteria. Such as solving specific problems, having unique selling points, marketability and business model.
A pitch session serves as an avenue for entrepreneurs to tell prospective investors their stories as well as the need to invest in their business.
Successful stories trigger the interest of prospects on why they should invest in their an in their business.
Speaking ahead of the pitch exercise, Chukwuemka Fred Agbata, Founder of CFAtech.ng posited that goal of the CFA team is to provide the opportunity for startups to grow in all possible ways and being part of this process would add value to your business.
He said the growth of startups or entrepreneurs remains paramount to the Nigerian economy. “Some of the startups that have participated in our previous pitch sessions are making some progress.
It gladdens my heart to see these startups scale up. Just recently Touchabl got a seed fund while MyPadi has been on another level.”
The list of judges for the pitch session are Jane Egerton-Idehen, Country Manager, Avanti Satellite Communication,Emilia Asim-Ita, Founder, AML , Adeolu Abodunrin, Director, Xpos Technologies and Lanre Basamta, Head Marketing, SystemSpecs.
