The suspense was high. Tension mounted . The silence was deafening .Everyone was glued to the seats of the large hall to hear and see the best innovator who will take home the coveted prize of $10,000 (about  N3 million).
The event was the 2019 Africa Fintech Foundry (AFF) disrupt 2019 conference, tagged;’Digital Gold Rush: Building A Sustainable Tech Economy’, organised by Access bank.
And the winner is Oghenetega Lortim ! It was a cheery and resounding applause that greeted the unassuming young innovator as he stepped on the podium .
The competition was tough and tensed. After the presentations the judges finally arrived at a point  that saw Oghenetega Lortim, an internet of Things (IOT) start up innovator taking home the prize.
He spoke eloquently about Gricd (Health Tech category), that provides an affordable, portable and active cold chain device for efficient storage of vaccines, blood and other health or agricultural products.
