Why Nigeria Is Our Key Market In Africa- Panasonic

Panasonic Nigeria has disclosed the reason it selected Nigeria as its major market among African countries.
According to the company during its 2017 Dealers Meeting in Lagos recently, Nigeria has both the population, flexibility in technological trend and that is why, Panasonic would continue to invest more in the company.
Speaking on Nigeria’s strategy,Head, Panasonic Nigeria, Mr Dipendi Goon while applauding the dealers who have helped the popularity of the brand explained that Nigeria is the most promising market for the future and that consumer market would also continue to grow in this part of the world.
“We intend to introduce entry levels line of smart TVS, washing machines in 7kg, 10kg and 12kg. And these products would contribute to our investment profile in 2018.
“Our focused agenda would be to add more dealers, invest more in bill boards, organise seminars, do more of brandings and these would connect our local customers as well as encourage more Point of Sales (PoS) to further drive the market”.
Goon further explained that the recent stability of foreign exchange is quite good for all “Our partners if the rate continue to be stable”.
Also speaking, Managing Director, Panasonic Alliances India Ltd, Mr Aso while x-raying the Indian success story disclosed that he would keep supporting the Panasonic Nigerian Market. Adding that 68 per cent of Panasonic domestic products contribute to the Indian market.
