US Trains Over 121 Budding Entrepreneurs To Drive Growth

The United State Consulate disclosed that entrepreneurs are the drivers of job growth in any nation.
It stated this as part of reasons it embarked upon capacity building for over 121 budding entrepreneurs.
According to the US consulate, it is part of its commitment to support Nigeria’s economic development.
Speaking at the conference for Emerging Enterpreneuers in Rivers recently, Consul General, Mr John Bray stated that the primary goal of U.S. Mission in Nigeria is to support Nigeria’s economic development through entrepreneurship training and mentoring, while also working with governments to create enabling environments and entrepreneurial cultures.
He explained that entrepreneurship contributes to political stability and guarantees a vibrant civil society. Adding that there is a growing evidence that entrepreneurs are the drivers of job growth.
The up-and-coming entrepreneurs, selected from across Nigeria were exposed to the rudiments involved in transform their ideas into practical business plans, manage business risks, navigate difficult moments, seek capital, and develop partnerships to help their businesses grow.
