Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of ntel, Mr. Ernest Akinlola disclosed recently that the company repositioned to deploy the most advanced technology to address complex-high speed in Nigeria Long Term Evolution, LTE.
Speaking at a forum organised by the Nigeria Information and Technology Reporters Association (NITRA), Akinlola revealed that the service would go live in the second quarter (Q2) of 2018.
According to him, ntel has expanded it’s LTE coverage in metro areas, share network while roaming in Africa as well as a capability development via investment.
“Our services have also cut across strong commercial focus, aggressive mass-market mall and medium enterprises (SME) and high value data-centric value proposition.
“We are assuring our subscribers of immediate coverage, service backward compability from 4G to 3G/2G, handset compability with speed to scale and also SAT3 global connect that will provide global connectivity across Africa, Asia, and Europe”.
Akinlola added that Ntel is growing at more than twice the speed it grew in 2017 and it’s current coverage cuts across Lagos, PortHarcourt, and Abuja.
He further stated that a combination of high impact commercial initiatives brought about an increase in subscribers acquisition and gross revenues in recent months.
