We Are Growing Stronger – Jumia boss

In spite of the unfriendly policies by the government stifling the e -commerce market in the country, Jumia disclosed that it’s customers base across the country are thriving and are growing stronger.
According to the company, Jumia customers base in Lagos is 25 per cent, Abuja 10 per cent, Edo seven per cent and others 58 per cent.
While giving insight on the report of the 2016/2017 of the Nigerian report and the 2018 Mobile launch tagged: ‘Jumia one’,Chief Executive Officer of Jumia, Mrs. Juliet Anammah said Nigeria is the pride of data with about 162 million subscribers and a penetration rate of 84 per cent,despite the setbacks.
“Telecom’s contributed 7.7 per cent to the Gross Domestic Progression, GDP of Nigeria economy, moreover 98 million Nigerians are internet enabled, have access to the internet and 21 million are smartphone users”.
She further disclosed that Jumia’s week would further boost the mobile market with at least 100 per cent especially with the commitments from its various partners.
On the theme for the week, the CEO said, Jumia one application it’s an application that gives lots of digital services at a go through e-commerce.
